Lloyd Cellars offers a Carneros Chardonnay and Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir, while Prescription Vineyards offers single appellation, single grower wines. The Chardonnay is a partnership with friend and grower James Reamer in Clarksburg, California. The inaugural vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon is grown in Alexander Valley, California, from the vineyard of a grower with whom Rob has worked for many years.
Layers of tropical fruits, pear, and apple wrap around refreshing acidity and fresh lemon, all supported by rich notes of vanillin leading into a powerful, yet elegant finish.
Lively aromatics of high-toned citrus and lemon peel (zingy acidity), tropical fruits and fresh cream lead into a refreshing and mouthwatering palate. Flavors of guava, papaya, key lime and crème brulée flow throughout a long, smooth, mineral laced finish. If you have one bottle for a surf and turf meal, this wine is beautiful with seafood and can easily match up to a steak.
Rich, bright fruit with notes of blackberry, cherry, and black currant with a touch of green olive oil that may remind some of a classic Bordeaux, making it another great food wine in our portfolio. The soft tannins provide a smooth mouthfeel and a texturally pleasing wine.
